THE PULNiX "TWIN" photoelectric beam is designed to meet the highest quality and reliability standards in photoelectric beam intrusion detection. Unique twin beams are synchronised in order to reinforce the range and stability in severe weather conditions. The system has a rotary optical system for ease of installation and a special lens design for accurate alignment.
The "Intelligent Twin" beams have 4 separate selectable frequencies for stacking up several sets without crosstalks.

The extruded aluminium frame of the tower ensures an attractive,compact and durable enclosure.
The BT-175 and BT-175W allow for positioning of the PB-IN-HF series beam units at any height within the tower with a maximum of 4 units "stacked" vertically. The BT175 allows units to be positioned back to back (for corners and straight lines).

The PB-IN-HF series of beams are designed to be used externally without heater. Howerver, when installed in the towers and used externally, we recommend the beam covers are removed and heaters are used (if the towers and beams are used internally the heaters are not required) for frost protection. Do not forget to apply tamper inserts to the beams. You will require one thermostat on each tower (each thermostat can control up to 4 heaters) and one heater per transmitter/receiver of the photoelectric beam. The othermostat should be fitted approximately 10cm from the base of the tower. The heater should be fitted at the bottom of the beam transmitter/ receiver, with the tube facing upwards so that the tip of the tube is almost touching the perspex of the tower. In this way, the heat will evenly spread over the passage of the beams.
